Home prices resilient despite rates

Home prices resilient despite rates - AUSTRALIANS are largely confident that their properties have retained their value over the past year despite rising interest rates, a survey reveals. [News.com.au - Breaking News]

Although the Australian property market has fizzled a little over the last few quarters, there hasn't been a drastic correction - rather a temporary halt to boom. Another very important consideration for anyone intending to migrate. The cost of housing, whether buying or renting (especially in Sydney) means that many find it almost impossible to buy their own home.

Rental vacancies are supposed to be at an all time low, and so rents are also on the increase. I last heard a colleague mention that there were people lining up outside his door to inspect the property for rental purposes.

However, if anyone is daring enough to take the plunge - we do offer property law services, including conveyancing. Good luck.
