Politics has no place in cricket: ambassador - ZIMBABWE'S ambassador to Australia has told the Federal Government to stop trying to ban a cricket tour of the troubled African nation. [News.com.au - Breaking News]
Clash between sport, politics and foreign policy. All important issues facing the Australian Government and the Australian and world cricket organisations.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade previous issued a travel warning about Zimbabwe in April 2007, and this warning remains current.
It will be very interesting to see how this issue plays out.
